Last summer, I read The Anxious Generation with a group of friends. It was enlightening and some of the ideas from The Anxious Generation are still unfolding, both in my mind and before my eyes as I observe the world.
Right now, I’m reading a book by Science of People’s Vanessa Van Edwards called Captivate. While it is specifically geared towards businesses training, I’m finding it fascinating.
I’m also dragging around a handful of fiction and a biography that I started but only visit on occasion. Is that a thing all readers do?
I want to start a book club that focuses on reading nonfiction books about the current culture and/or with a current perspective.
A couple of years ago, I read a wonderful book called Leading With A Limp by Dan Allender, a wonderfully honest and open consideration at how to approach ministry leadership. Let’s read another of Allender’s books this summer.
